At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 23rd day of June 1993 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of the said section 5 and in accordance with the said resolution, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the House of Commons Disqualification Order 1993.

Schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 (which specifies offices the holders of which are disqualified for membership of the House of Commons) shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in the Schedule to this Order.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the list of offices which disqualify holders for membership of the House of Commons and which are contained in Schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975.
