Made: 27th July 1993

Coming into force: 17th August 1993

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Transport (being the appropriate Minister under subsection (7) of the said section 14[^f00002]), in exercise of the powers conferred by that section and now vested in him[^f00003], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

In this Order expressions to which meanings are assigned by the Harwich Harbour Act 1974[^f00004] have the same respective meanings; and “the Authority” means the Harwich Haven Authority.

Extension of seaward limit of jurisdiction

Borrowing powers

Section 54 (Borrowing powers) of the Harwich Harbour Act 1974 shall have effect as if in subsection (1), as having effect in accordance with article 2(1) of the Harwich Harbour Revision Order 1985[^f00007], for the words “£30 million” there were substituted the words “£50 million”.
