The Non-Domestic Rates (Scotland) Order 1993
Made: 3rd February 1993

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 7A(1) and 37(1) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1975([^f00001]) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rates (Scotland) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 8th March 1993.
Non-domestic rates for 1993-94

For the purposes of section 7A of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1975, the Secretary of State prescribes in respect of the financial year 1993-94 for each local authority set out in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order the non-domestic rate, expressed as an amount of pence per pound, set out in column 2 of that Schedule opposite the name of that local authority.

Explanatory note

This Order prescribes the non-domestic rate for the financial year 1993-94 for each local authority in Scotland listed in the Schedule.
