The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 73(2) of the County Courts Act 1984[^f00001], hereby makes the following Regulations:

(2B) Where in an action for the recovery of land an order is made for the payment of money (whether for costs, payments due under a mortgage, arrears of rent or otherwise) that order shall be exempt from registration until the judgment creditor takes steps to enforce it.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the Register of County Court Judgment Regulations 1985 so as to exempt from registration until the judgment creditor takes steps to enforce payment any order for the payment of money which is made in proceedings to recover possession of land.
