Made: 16th February 1993

Coming into force: 15th March 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and all other enabling powers:—

The length of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the City of Bradford Metropolitan Council that the new trunk road is open for through traffic.

This Order shall come into force on the 15th March 1993 and may be cited as the A65 Trunk Road (Denton Bridge to Black Bull Farm) (De-Trunking) Order 1993.

SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is about 1.9 kilometres in length and extends from a point (marked “C” on the deposited plan) 412 metres south-east of its junction with Denton Bridge to a point (marked “D” on the deposited plan) 626 metres north-west of its junction with the A65 Ilkley Road and Leather Bank all in the District of Bradford in the County of West Yorkshire.
