Made: 25th November 1993

Coming into force: 24th December 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by a broken black line on the deposited plan shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Hertfordshire that the new trunk roads are open for through traffic.

This Order shall come into force on 24th December 1993 and may be cited as the A10 Trunk Road (North of Ware to South of Puckeridge) (Detrunking) Order 1993.

SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is between a point 260 metres north of the point where it is crossed by the southern side of the A1170 overbridge (at the northern end of the A10 Ware Bypass) and a point 240 metres south of its roundabout junction with the A120 road (at Puckeridge), all in the County of Hertfordshire.
