Made: 23rd February 1993

Coming into force: 5th March 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:—

The new highway which the Secretary of State proposed to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road as from the date when the Order comes into force.

The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.

In this Order:

This Order shall come into force on 5th March 1993 and may be cited as the M66 Motorway (Manchester Outer Ring Road, Denton to Middleton Section) A663 Broadway All-Purpose Connecting Road Order 1993.

SCHEDULE — ROUTE OF THE NEW TRUNK ROAD

All-purpose road to connect the motorway with A663 Broadway

A route to connect the slip road from the southbound carriageway of the M66 Motorway with the A663 Broadway (as proposed to be improved by the Secretary of State pursuant to the M66 Motorway (Manchester Outer Ring Road, Denton to Middleton Section) and Connecting Roads (Side Roads) Order No. 3 199), the road along this route being given the reference number 1 on the order plan in the deposited plan.
