Made: 10th March 1993

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 10th day of March 1993 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Now therefore, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(7) of the Continental Shelf Act 1964[^f00002]and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:

The area defined in the Schedule to this Order is hereby designated as an area within which the rights of the United Kingdom outside territorial waters with respect to the sea bed and subsoil and their natural resources are exercisable.

SCHEDULE

Article 2 of this Order applies to the area bounded by a line joining the following co-ordinates on WGS 84 Datum

(1) 53° 39" 00'.0N 5° 16" 20'.4W
(2) 53° 42" 08'.4N 5° 16" 20'.4W
(3) 53° 42" 08'.4N 5° 17" 51'.0W
(4) 53° 44" 24'.0N 5° 17" 51'.0W
(5) 53° 44" 24'.0N 5° 19" 19'.8W
(6) 53° 45" 48'.0N 5° 19" 19'.8W
(7) 53° 45" 48'.0N 5° 22" 00'.0W
(8) 53° 46" 00'.0N 5° 22" 00'.0W
(9) 53° 46" 00'.0N 5° 19" 00'.0W
(10) 53° 59" 56'.95N 5° 19" 00'.00W

and the co-ordinates numbered (24) in the Schedule to the Continental Shelf (Designation of Additional Areas) Order 1968 and the co-ordinates numbered (1) in Schedule 1 to the Continental Shelf (Designation of Areas) Order 1989 and the co-ordinates numbered (1) in this Schedule.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates a further area of the continental shelf as an area in which the rights of the United Kingdom with respect to the seabed and subsoil and their natural resources are exercisable.
