The Education (Welsh Agricultural College Higher Education Corporation) (Designated Staff) Order 1993

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 127(1) and (5) of the Education Reform Act 1988[^f00001] the Secretary of State for Wales hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Education (Welsh Agricultural College Higher Education Corporation) (Designated Staff) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.

Those persons employed by a local education authority to work at the Welsh Agricultural College and who are named in the Schedule hereto are hereby designated for the purposes of section 127 of the Education Reform Act 1988.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order designates, for the purposes of section 127 of the Education Reform Act 1988, certain staff who work at the Welsh Agricultural College (which is to be conducted by a higher education corporation from 1st April 1993) but do not work solely at the College.
Section 127 substitutes the Welsh Agricultural College Higher Education Corporation for the local education authority as the employer of the persons so designated, as well as of those persons who are employed to work solely at the College, from that date.
