The Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 (Commencement No.7) Order 1993
Made: 25th March 1993
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 30(2) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979([^f00001]) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 (Commencement No.7) Order 1993.

Sections 2(1) and (2) and 3(3) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 shall come into force on 1st October 1993 in the area, for the purpose of registration of writs, of the County of West Lothian.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st October 1993 in the area of the County of West Lothian section 2(1) and (2) (which provides for the circumstances in which an interest in land shall be registrable) and section 3(3) (which provides that certain persons are to obtain a real right only by registration) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979.
