The Land Registration (Determination of Costs) Order 1993
Made: 31st March 1993
Coming into force: 1st April 1993
Now, therefore, the Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Land Registration (Determination of Costs) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.
- (2) In this Order “the 1925 Act” means the Land Registration Act 1925[^f00002].
Matters to be taken into account in determining costs on the exercise of power to fix fees

In relation to the power under section 145[^f00003]of the 1925 Act to make orders with respect to the amount of fees payable under that Act, the following matter, namely a requirement to secure a return on the resources employed in the working of the 1925 Act, is hereby specified for the purposes of section 102(4) of the Finance (No. 2) Act 1987 as one which is to be taken into account in determining the costs of the functions which fall to be taken into account on the exercise of that power.

(This note does not form part of the Order)
This Order specifies a matter which is to be taken into account in the determination of the costs which fall to be taken into account on the exercise of the power to fix fees by orders made under section 145 of the Land Registration Act 1925.
