At the Court at Windsor Castle, the 13th day of April 1994 Present, The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2 of the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985[^f00001],is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

This Order may be cited as the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order1994 and shall come into force on 1st May 1994.

The Child Abduction and Custody (Partie to Conventions) (Amendment) Order 1994[^f00002]is amended by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting therefor the following—

SCHEDULE Contracting States to the Convention

Territories specified in Declarations under Article 39 or 40 of the Convention Date of Coming into force as between the United Kingdom and the State or Territory
The Bahamas 1st January 1994
Bosnia and Herzegovina 7th April 1992
Croatia 1st December 1991
Honduras 1st March 1994
Macedonia 1st December 1991
Panama 1st May 1994

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which is made under the Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985, amends the Child Abduction and Custody (Parties to Conventions) (Amendment) Order 1994[^f00003]in order to specify that, for the purposes of that Act, Panama is a Contracting State to the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, The Hague, 25th October 1980, with effect from 1st May 1994.
