The National Lottery (Licence Fees) Order 1994

Coming into force: 24th May 1994
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 7(5) and 60(4) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the National Lottery (Licence Fees) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 24th May 1994.
- (2) Any reference in this Order to section 5 or section 6 is a reference to section 5 or section 6 (as the case may be) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.
Fee to be paid on the granting of the licence under section 5

The fee to be paid on the granting of the licence under section 5 shall be £70,000.
Fee to be paid on the granting of a licence under section 6

The fee to be paid on the granting of a licence under section 6 shall be £20,000.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order prescribes fees to be paid on the granting of licences under section 5 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (a licence to run the National Lottery) and section 6 of that Act (licences to promote lotteries as part of the National Lottery).
