Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
Article 3 (2) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Commencement No. 15) Order 1994 makes provision for determining the date upon which certain provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (relating to waste management licensing) come into force for the purposes of their application to activities involving the treatment, keeping or disposal of scrap metal or motor vehicles which are to be dismantled. As respects any such activity, that date is determined according to the state of affairs on 1st October 1994.
This Order amends that article by substituting, for the references to 1st October 1994, references to 1st January 1995.
