Coming into force

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 1(2), 3(1)(b), (5) and (6) of the Agricultural Training Board Act 1982[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, after the carrying out by them of consultations in accordance with section 3(3) of that Act, hereby make the following Order:—

The Industrial Training (Agricultural, Horticultural and Forestry Board) Order 1966[^f00004] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides for the winding up of the Agricultural Training Board which was established by the Industrial Training (Agricultural, Horticultural and Forestry Board) Order 1966, and for the revocation of that Order. Any assets remaining on the completion of the winding up are transferred to ATB-Landbase, a charitable company limited by guarantee.
