Made: 16th March 1994

Coming into force: 15th July 1994

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 17(2), 107(1)(b) and 107(3) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, on the application of the Borders Regional Council, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

Amendment of the principal Order

For article 6 of the principal Order[^f00006] there shall be substituted the following article:—

(6) The power to take water conferred by this Order shall not be exercisable after 15th July 1999.

Miscellaneous

The Borders Regional Council shall at all times after the expiration of six months from the date on which this Order comes into force keep at the office of the Chief Executive of the Council a copy thereof.
