Made: 21st March 1994

Coming into force: 1st April 1994

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other enabling powers:

This Order may be cited as the B4260 Trunk Road (De-trunking at Ross-on-Wye) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.

In this Order:

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be a classified road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of the trunk road in Ross-on-Wye in the County of Hereford and Worcester which extends in an easterly direction from a point 68 metres south east of the centre point of Wilton Roundabout to a point 18 metres west of the centre point of the roundabout at its junction with the Ross-on-Wye Relief Road, a distance of approximately 2.375 kilometres and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA10/2WM/137 marked “The B4260 Trunk Road (De-trunking at Ross-on-Wye) Order 1994”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1 3PY.
