SCHEDULE — PROHIBITED PLACES

PART I

PART II

Signed

Michael Howard — One of Her Majesty’s Principal Secretaries of State — 28th March 1994

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

Section 3 of the Official Secrets Act 1911, as amended, defines the expression “prohibited place” for the purposes of that Act, and paragraph (c) of that section enables certain places not otherwise within the definition to be declared prohibited places by Order.

Accordingly, this Order declares the places specified in the Schedule to be prohibited places for the purposes of the 1911 Act. The Order also revokes the Official Secrets (Prohibited Places) Order 1975 and the Official Secrets (Prohibited Places) (Amendment) Order 1993, which it replaces.
