The M1–A1 Link (Belle Isle To Bramham Crossroads Section And Connecting Roads) Scheme 1994 (Variation) Scheme 1995

Coming into force: 14th March 1995

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by sections 16, 17, 19, 106, 108 and 326 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001], and now vested in him[^f00002], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:—

The M1–A1 Link (Belle Isle to Bramham Crossroads Section and Connecting Roads) Scheme 1994 is hereby varied as follows:—

• (a) for schedules 3 and 5 to that Scheme are substituted the schedules to this Scheme which are numbered 3 and 5 respectively; and

• (b) for article 2(c)(iii) of that Scheme (definition of “plan”), substitute—

• (iii) “plan” means plan number 2 in the plan folio numbered HA 16/YHCPD 10 and marked, “The M1–A1 Link (Belle Isle to Bramham Crossroads Section and Connecting Roads) Scheme 1994”, or numbered 1 and 3 in the plan folio numbered HA 16/YHCPD 16 and marked, “The M1–A1 Link (Belle Isle to Bramham Crossroads Section and Connecting Roads) Scheme 1994 (Variation) Scheme 1995”, each signed by authority of the Secretary of State at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY and “plan” shall be construed accordingly.

This Scheme may be cited as the M1–A1 Link (Belle Isle to Bramham Crossroads Section and Connecting Roads) Scheme 1994 (Variation) Scheme 1995 and shall come into force on 14th March 1995.

SCHEDULE 3 — ROUTE OF THE CONNECTING ROADS

The routes of the connecting roads are in the City of Leeds and the District of Selby in the Counties of West and North Yorkshire.

Junctions with Pontefract Road (A639 and B6481) 1 Four routes to connect the Motorway with Pontefract Road (A639) as proposed to be improved (the special roads along these routes being respectively given the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 on plan 1).

Junction with Selby Road (A63T) 2 Five routes to connect the Motorway with Selby Road (A63) as proposed to be improved (the special roads along these routes being respectively given the numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 and 16 on plan 1).

Junction with Aberford Road (A642) 3 Four routes to connect the Motorway with Aberford Road (A642) as proposed to be improved (the special roads along these routes being respectively given the numbers 9, 10, 11 and 12 on plan 2).

Junction with the Leeds Road (A64T) 4 Two routes to connect the Motorway with the Leeds Road (A64) as proposed to be improved (the special roads along these routes being respectively given the numbers 13 and 14 on plan 3).

Junction with A1 Southbound Carriageway 5 One route to connect the Motorway with A1 Trunk Road Southbound carriageway (the special road along the route being respectively given the number 15 on plan 3).
