The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 180(1) of the Pensions Act 1995[^f00001] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 1995 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1996.
Appointed day
2
The day appointed for the coming into force of section 116(1) of the Pensions Act 1995, is the day following the day on which this Order is made.

Explanatory note
