Made: 24th April 1998

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 45 of the Bank of England Act 1998[^f00001], hereby make the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Bank of England Act 1998 (Commencement) Order 1998.

2

The Bank of England Act 1998 shall come into force on 1st June 1998.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 1st June 1998 all the provisions of the Bank of England Act 1998.
