The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 27(1) to (4) and (10) of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

Application of the Regulations

and the effective date of the assessment is earlier than the date on which the assessment was made; or

Prescribed date

For the purposes of section 27(1)(a) of the 2000 Act, the prescribed date is 1st April 2005.
