Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order revokes and replaces the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (The Borough Council of Dudley) Designation Order 2008 (S.I. 2008/1518) (“the revoked Order”) solely for the purpose of correcting a drafting error.
The revoked Order incorrectly designated The Borough Council of Dudley as a civil enforcement area and a special enforcement area for the purposes of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 when it should have designated the whole of the area of the Council for those purposes. This Order corrects that error.
No Impact Assessment has been prepared for this instrument as it has no significant effect on the cost to business and the voluntary sector.
Footnotes
The Secretary of State, under section 92 of the Traffic Management Act 2004, is the “appropriate national authority” for England for the purposes of Part 6 of that Act.
