EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order designates as a restricted area for the purposes of the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973 an area near Rye, Sussex around the site of the wreck of the vessel called the Anne.
An area around what was thought to be the site of the Annewas previously designated as a restricted area under the Protection of Wrecks (Designation No.1) Order 1992. This Order corrects the position of the site, extends the radius of the restricted area from 75 to 100 metres and revokes the 1992 Order.
