EXPLANATORY NOTE
The Films Co-Production Agreements Order 1985 (“the principal Order”) provides that films made in accordance with the agreements between the Government of the United Kingdom and the Governments of other countries listed in the Schedule are to be treated as British films for the purposes of Schedule 1 to the Films Act 1985. This Order extends the list of agreements scheduled to the principal Order to include an agreement with Morocco of 12th October 2009 (Cm. 7670). The agreement with Morocco was laid before Parliament on 4th November 2009 and is available from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website: www.fco.gov.uk.
