The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (City of Bradford) Designation Order 2009

Coming into force: 26th March 2009

Accordingly, the Secretary of State for Transport[^f00002] makes this Order.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (City of Bradford) Designation Order 2009 and shall come into force on 26th March 2009.

Designation of civil enforcement area and special enforcement area

• (1) The Secretary of State designates the area described in paragraph (2) as—

• (a) a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions; and

• (b) a special enforcement area.

• (2) This Order applies to the area of the metropolitan district of Bradford with the exception of the M606 and its slip roads from the district boundary to the A6177 ring road junction.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order designates the area of the metropolitan district of Bradford as a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions, and as a special enforcement area, for the purposes of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. Part of the Council’s area (being a motorway) has been excluded from the designation.

A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
