The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 325 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 [^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2009.

Commencement of provisions relating to dissolution of the Housing Corporation

Section 64(1) and (2) of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 shall come into force on 16th February 2009.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into force provisions in section 64 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008. The provisions commenced enable the Secretary of State to make provision for the dissolution of the Housing Corporation.
