Made: 10th March 2009

In accordance with section 24(4)[^f00002] of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted the Scottish Ministers and the Security Industry Authority.

Citation and Extent

This Order may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No.1) (Northern Ireland) Order 2009.

This Order extends to Northern Ireland only.

Commencement of the Private Security Industry Act 2001

The following provisions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 shall come into force on 11th March 2009 for the purpose only of making regulations or orders:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings the provisions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 set out in article 3 into force in Northern Ireland for the purpose of making regulations or orders on 11th March 2009.
