Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Cycles Etc. (Single Vehicle Approval) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 3rd May 2009.
Increases in fees

- (1) The Motor Cycles Etc. (Single Vehicle Approval) (Fees) Regulations 2003[^f00003] are amended as follows.
- (2) In the regulations specified in column (1) of the Table, for each amount specified in column (2) substitute the amount specified in column (3).

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Motor Cycles Etc. (Single Vehicle Approval) (Fees) Regulations 2003 (“the 2003 Regulations”). Those Regulations prescribe the fees which are payable in connection with applications for a Minister’s Approval Certificate and appeals under the Motor Cycles Etc. (Single Vehicle Approval) Regulations 2003 (“the Approval Regulations”). The Approval Regulations allow motor cycles, mopeds and other specified vehicles to be approved in terms of their design, construction, equipment and marking.
Regulation 2(2) increases the fees prescribed by the 2003 Regulations. The increased fees are set out in the Table (with the percentage increase since the fees were last fixed shown in brackets).
