The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 13(5) and 61(5) of, and entry 19 in the table in paragraph 1 of Schedule 7 to, the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006[^f00001]:

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Appropriate Officer and Schedule 7 Prescribed Persons) (Revocation) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 25th July 2010.

Revocation

The Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Appropriate Officer and Schedule 7 Prescribed Persons) Regulations 2010[^f00002] are revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations revoke the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Appropriate Officer and Schedule 7 Prescribed Persons) Regulations 2010 which are not yet in force. Those Regulations prescribed persons for certain purposes relating to being subject to monitoring under section 24 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
