The Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion Revocation) Order 2010
Made: 29th June 2010
Coming into force: 6th April 2011
In accordance with section 71 of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion Revocation) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 6th April 2011.
Revocation

The Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion and Revocation) Order 2004[^f00002] is hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order revokes The Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion and Revocation) Order 2004 (SI 2004/1260) (“the 2004 Order”). The 2004 Order excludes land agreements, as defined in that Order, from the prohibition on anti-competitive agreements imposed by section 2 of the Competition Act 1998 (c.41) (“the Chapter I prohibition”).
An Impact Assessment has been prepared. A copy can be obtained from the Consumer and Competition Policy Directorate, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Bay 415, 1 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0ET.
