The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 54(1) and (2)(a) of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006[^f00001]:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Supervisory Authorities and Devolution Alignment) (Amendment) Order 2010 and comes into force on 25th July 2010.

Amendment of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Supervisory Authorities and Devolution Alignment) Order 2010

Article 3 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Supervisory Authorities and Devolution Alignment) Order 2010[^f00002] is revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Article 2 of the Order revokes article 3 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (Supervisory Authorities and Devolution Alignment) Order 2010, which made provision for a person who is subject to monitoring in relation to regulated activity under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 to be treated as if they were subject to monitoring in relation to regulated activity under section 24 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
