The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(3) of the Northern Ireland Assembly Members Act 2010[^f00001], makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland Assembly Members Act 2010 (Commencement) Order 2010.

Sections 1 and 2 of the Northern Ireland Assembly Members Act 2010 shall come into force on the 5th July 2010.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 5th July 2010 sections 1 and 2 of the Northern Ireland Assembly Members Act 2010. Section 3 of the Act came into force on Royal Assent.
