The Secretary of State has not undertaken consultation with organisations appearing to the Secretary of State to be representative of the authorities concerned, as it appears to the Secretary of State that by reason of urgency it is inexpedient to do so[^f00006].

Citation and commencement

• (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Employment and Support Allowance (Transitional Provisions, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit) (Existing Awards) (Revocation) Regulations 2010.

• (2) These Regulations shall come into force on 27th August 2010.

The Employment and Support Allowance (Transitional Provisions, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit) (Existing Awards) Regulations 2010[^f00007] are revoked.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations revoke the Employment and Support Allowance (Transitional Provisions, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit) (Existing Awards) Regulations 2010 (S.I. 2010/875). These Regulations should be read in conjunction with the Employment and Support Allowance (Transitional Provisions, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit) (Existing Awards) (No. 2) Regulation 2010 (S.I. 2010/1907) which remakes S.I. 2010/875.

These Regulations, together with S.I. 2010/1907, have no new impact on the private, public or voluntary sectors.
