Made: 3rd August 2010

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 216(3) of the Equality Act 2010[^f00001], makes the following Order:

The following provisions of the Equality Act 2010 come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This is the second Commencement Order made under the Equality Act 2010. Article 2 commences further provisions of that Act to supplement provisions previously commenced by the Equality Act (Commencement No. 1) Order 2010 S.I. No. 2010/1736 (C.91) so far as necessary for making subordinate legislation and guidance and Article 3 commences a further provision in relation to making Codes of Practice under the previously commenced provisions.
