EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Electricity (Standards of Performance) Regulations 2010 (S.I 2010/698) (the “earlier Regulations”).

Regulation 13 of the earlier Regulations, the ‘Estimate of charges for connection’ standard, is revoked, and associated references are deleted, as that standard is the subject of the Electricity (Connection Standards of Performance) Regulations 2010 (S.I. 2010/2088) from 1st October 2010.

Regulation 19 of the earlier Regulations, the ‘Appointments’ standard, is amended so that it does not apply to a visit arising out of the application of the Electricity (Connection Standards of Performance) Regulations 2010.
