The Companies (Disclosure of Address) (Amendment) Regulations 2010

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 243(2) and (3) of the Companies Act 2006[^f00001], makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Disclosure of Address) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and come into force on 1st October 2010.
Amendment to the Companies (Disclosure of Address) Regulations 2009

- (1) The Companies (Disclosure of Address) Regulations 2009[^f00002] are amended as follows.
- (2) In Schedule 1, after “the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Services;” insert “the Marine Management Organisation;”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Companies (Disclosure of Address) Regulations 2009 by including the Marine Management Organisation in Schedule 1 to those Regulations. Schedule 1 to those Regulations specifies the public authorities to whom the registrar may disclose protected information in accordance with section 243 of the Companies Act 2006. (For this purpose “protected information”, as defined by section 240(1) of that Act, means information as to the usual residential address of a company director who is an individual, or information that the service address of such a company director is that company director’s usual address.)
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument, as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
