Coming into force: 30th November 2010

Accordingly, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 28(1) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993[^f00002], and after consultation with Scottish Ministers, makes the following Order.

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Apportionment of Money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund Order 2010 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the percentage apportionment of money held in the National Lottery Distribution Fund for each of the four good causes specified in section 22(3)(a) to (d) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.

Article 2 of this Order amends section 22(3) of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 to provide that as from the beginning of 1 April 2011 the money held in the Distribution Fund (less such sum as the Secretary of State considers appropriate for making payments under section 31 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993) will be apportioned as follows:

Article 3 of this Order further amends the apportionment of money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund to provide that as from the beginning of 1 April 2012 the money in the Distribution Fund (less such sum as the Secretary of State considers appropriate for making payments under section 31 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993) will be apportioned as follows:-
