EXPLANATORY NOTE

The London Skills and Employment Board is under a duty in section 113 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (“the Act”) to formulate a strategy setting out how the functions specified in this Order are to be carried out by the Chief Executive of Skills Funding in Greater London, and to keep that strategy under review.

This Order replaces the London Skills and Employment Board (Specified Functions) Order 2008 (“the 2008 Order”).

A full impact assessment was carried out in respect of the 2008 Order which is available from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Moorfoot, Sheffield S1 4PQ and is annexed to the Explanatory Memorandum which is available alongside the 2008 Order on the OPSI website. It is therefore not necessary to carry out a further impact assessment for this Order.
