Coming into force: 31st March 2010

The Treasury has consented to the making of this Order as required by paragraph 1(7) of Schedule 5 to that Act.

Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trust (Originating Capital) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 31st March 2010.

Originating capital of NHS trusts

The originating capital of an NHS trust specified in column 1 of the Schedule shall be the amount specified in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the Schedule.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order determines the amount of the originating capital, provided for in paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5 to the National Health Service Act 2006, of National Health Service trusts established under that Act on 1st April 2009.
