The Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2010
Made: 8th March 2010
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 62(3) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008[^f00001], makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2010.
- (2) In this Order, any reference to a numbered section or Schedule is a reference to a section of, or Schedule to, the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008.
Appointed day

The following provisions come into force on 6th April 2010—
- (a) section 24 (orders preventing avoidance); and
- (b) paragraph 3 of Schedule 7 (minor and consequential amendments).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force provisions of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (c. 6).
Article 2 brings into force section 24 (orders preventing avoidance) and paragraph 3 of Schedule 7 (minor and consequential amendments) on 6th April 2010.
