Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in Her by section 112 of the Saint Helena Act 1833[^f00001], the British Settlements Acts 1887 and 1945[^f00002], and of all other powers enabling Her to do so, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation, commencement and extent

• (1) This Order may be cited as the Uzbekistan (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) (Revocation) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 8th April 2010.

• (2) This Order extends to the territories specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Revocation

The Uzbekistan (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2006[^f00003] is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes the Uzbekistan (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2006 made to give effect, in the overseas territories to which the 2006 Order extended, to Council Common Position 2005/792/CFSP (as amended by Council Common Position 2008/843/CFSP) which was adopted by the Council of the European Union on 14th November 2005 to provide for certain restrictive measures against Uzbekistan. On 27th October 2009 the Council decided that the Council Common Position 2005/792/CFSP (as amended) should not be extended beyond the expiry date of 13th November 2009.

A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen.
