Coming into force in accordance with article 1

The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 92(6) of and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989[^f00001].

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) Order 2011 and shall come into force—

Revocation of jurisdiction

The county courts listed in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be family hearing centres.

Amendments to the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008

The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008[^f00002] shall be amended by omitting the entries in Schedule 1 to that Order relating to the county courts listed in the Schedule to this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008 so that the county courts listed in the schedule cease to be family hearing centres on the dates specified in article 1 of this Order.
