Made: 4th August 2011

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(2) of the European Union Act 2011[^f00001], makes the following order.

Citation

This order may be cited as the European Union Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2011.

Commencement

2

The European Union Act 2011 comes into force on 19th September 2011 to the extent that it is not already in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The European Union Act 2011 comes into force on 19th September 2011 to the extent that it is not already in force.

Section 15 and Part 3 of the European Union Act 2011 entered into force on Royal assent (19th July 2011). Part 1 of, and Schedule 1 to, the European Union Act 2011 were brought into force by order on 19th August 2011.
