The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 104(3) to 104(5) of the Finance Act 2009[^f00001].

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order appoints 6 October 2011 as the day on which that part of the scheme in sections 101 to 103 of the Finance Act 2009 about the rates of late payment and repayment interest comes into force generally[^f00005].

[^f00004]: Sections 103(1) and 103(2) provide for the applicable rates of late payment interest and repayment interest to be those provided for in regulations made by the Treasury.
