The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the Sports Grounds Safety Authority Act 2011[^f00001]:

This Order may be cited as The Sports Grounds Safety Authority Act 2011 (Commencement) Order 2011.
Commencement

The Sports Grounds Safety Authority Act 2011 comes into force on 1st November 2011 to the extent that it is not already in force.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 1st November 2011 Part 1 of and the Schedules to the Sports Grounds Safety Authority Act 2011 (c.6). The remainder of the Act was brought into force on Royal Assent by section 8(3) of that Act.
