Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Instrument in exercise of powers conferred by section 106(3) of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001] and now vested in the Secretary of State[^f00002]:

This Instrument may be cited as “The Cambridgeshire County Council (St.Neots Southern Foot and Cycle Bridge) Scheme 2010 Confirmation Instrument 2011” and shall come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

The Cambridgeshire County Council (St.Neots Southern Foot and Cycle Bridge) Scheme 2010 (“the Scheme”) is hereby confirmed without modifications.

The Scheme as confirmed is set out in the Schedule hereto (including the plans) and copies of the Scheme as modified with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department for Transport, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, StLeonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7GA, and at the offices of Cambridgeshire County Council at Shire Hall, Castle Hill, Cambridge (Environment Services, Castle Court) and at the offices of St. Neots Town Council, Council Offices, The Priory St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 2BH.
THE SCHEDULE
The County Council of Cambridgeshire (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) makes this Scheme in exercise of its powers under Section 106(3) of the Highways Act 1980.
1 The Council is authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the River Great Ouse the bridge specified in the Schedule to the Scheme as part of the highway which it is proposing to construct between Shakespeare Road in the Parish of Eaton Socon and Barford Road in the Parish of Eynesbury in the County of Cambridgeshire.
2 The Scheme may be cited as the Cambridgeshire County Council (St. Neots Southern Foot and Cycle Bridge) Scheme 2010.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This instrument confirms a scheme to construct over the navigable waters of the River Great Ouse a bridge as part of the highway which it is proposing to construct between Shakespeare Road and Barford Road, in the Parish of Eynesbury in the County of Cambridgeshire.
A regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no significant impact on business, charities or voluntary bodies.
