The Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment No.2) Order 2011

Coming into force: 5th March 2011
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8B(5) of the Immigration Act 1971[^f00001]:

This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment No.2) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 5th March 2011.

In Part 2 of the Schedule to the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000[^f00002], insert “Council Decision 2011/137/CFSP of 28th February 2011 (Libya).”[^f00003] at the appropriate place.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order amends the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000 (“the 2000 Order”) by adding to Part 2 of the Schedule to the 2000 Order European Union Council Decision 2011/137/CFSP of 28th February 2011, made in response to the situation in Libya.
