The Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) (Amendment) Regulations 2011

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 113B(1)(b) of the Police Act 1997[^f00001] as extended by the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Jersey) Order 2010[^f00002] makes the following Regulations.
Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

- (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 6th April 2011.
- (2) In these Regulations “the 2010 Regulations” mean the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010[^f00003].
- (3) These Regulations extend to Jersey.

In regulation 3(b) of the 2010 Regulations (fees for criminal record certificates and enhanced criminal record certificates) for “£36” substitute “£44”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010 by increasing the fee for an application made under section 113B of the Police Act 1997 for an enhanced criminal records certificate from £36 to £44 with effect from 6th April 2011. No fee is payable in relation to an application made by a volunteer under this section.
