The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 100(5) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008[^f00001].

This Order may be cited as the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2012.

Section 27 (meaning of “terrorism offence”) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 shall come into force on 26th July 2012 only in so far as it extends to England and Wales and Scotland.
